End of July Update

Things have been going really great for Marley and I, somewhat. Marley is doing wonderful, she has another doctor appointment coming up in August, Lately she has been doing more tummy time and working on her muscles, she really doesn't like being on her tummy too long but weve been increasing it, since she hasnt really started to roll yet. She looooves to sit, almost all the time. She is working on sitting up by herself, she does pretty well except most of the time she will fall forward. She is doing great with making her ooo's and aaaaa's and will talk to mom for a very long time! Again, she may be teething early, I talked to her nurse again and did some research and she has alot of symptoms of teething! She is just getting big, and beautiful, she loves to have mommy hold her up standing and gets very excited and happy. She loves to laugh with mom and grandma when they tickle her. She can't be away from mommy for too long or she starts to get fussy! she is a mommy's girl!

As far as my life goes, again im just preparing to go back to school. Ive been looking at other schools to get into one better, or after graduating stout, to get into a great graduate school and bring in some amazing opportunities for the both of us. Everything else is going ok..cant wait until this month is over with!, Marley and I will love to spend our last month of summer together before mom goes to school. I cant wait to just spend everyday with her. I pretty much just play with Marley, raise her and see my family and some select friend. Some things have been very difficult to deal with and some things that are happening only make things more complicated and ugly. Ive been praying a lot and I hope that everyones hearts will be softened and we can move past this and grow up. Im ready for new beginnings and sick of playing games.

3 Months Old

Marley is 3 months old. So far she takes baths really well, she will sleep all through the night and wake up around 9 in the morning. She eats really well and spits up like every baby does. She loves to have you hold her sitting up, she likes to be a big girl already! She smiles when Mommy talks to her and sings to her, and she can repeat ceratin sounds back to me. She gets very excited that we make the same sounds and will smile huge and kick her legs all over the place. She can't sit up on her own yet, but she is working on it. She does tummy time very well and can push her self up. She has been holding her head up since she was born. She is very strong and very advanced. Lately she has been drooling a ton and being fussy and chewing on all her clothes and blankets and anything she can get a hold of. Her nurse said she might already be teething! But seeing as she isnt too fussy, she might just like to chew. Mommy already got her teething rings though just in case :).

As far as my life goes, I am preparing for my second year back at school. Majoring in psychology and the program director got me into some excellent classes this year! So far Ive just been dealing with recent things, and raising Marley. We go on walks ( losing that baby weight) and just play and talk all day long. I love being a Mommy! Marley's room has a dancer theme. Ill get some pictures up soon. The house is coming along great, new furniture and just got a new tv stand and tv ( for free!) the place looks very nice. When Marley is with daddy, I spend my time either preparing for things, or hanging out with my friend Jenna from Scotland. I am paitning canvas's for Marleys room and just enjoying all of my time with her.

Marley Rae Larsen

For starters, for those just joining the blog (grandparents, aunties and uncles)

Marley Rae Larsen,

Born april 10th 2009, at 7:48 pm.

She weighed exactly 8 pounds, and was 19 1/2 inches long.

She of course was born with a ton of dark dark brown hair ( like her mama)

Marley did so well and was such a good baby right away she barely cried. She ate and slept alot. Her first poopy diaper I hear was horrible ( Daddy changed her first one, i was still on bedrest). I delivered a c-section after spending a day and night in the hospital with severe preeclampsia. After they tried inducing me it affected my blood pressure making it worse, and affected poor baby Marley's heartrate. So a c-section was a must. Although I must say i dont remeber much, I remeber puking and feeling a lot of pressure but being so glad it was over with. I heard one little scream after she was out and saw Adam peeking over the curtain to see her. I was very very swollen and not feeling good. I just remeber seeing her I was so drugged out I could barely cry. Adam kissed my forehead and we just became parents.

Our immediate families were there waiting when Adam took her out there. Of course everyone fell in love with her right away. I vaguely remeber being pushed out int he hallway as I put my arms up in a "fiddler on the roof" type dance and said "LAHIUM!". Lol I blame the drugs, for this brief odd period.

Anyways, Marley was born very healthy, just a little jaundice, I was still pretty bad with theblood pressure and swelling afterwards, but it was overall perfect. Our little easter Miracle.
